- Orders restoration of rotation policy of civil servants in line with its original spirit
- Says govt committed to ensuring equal opportunities for progress to every citizen
ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar on Friday ordered the restoration and strict implementation of the rotation policy of civil servants in line with its original spirit, directing for a comprehensive policy to appointment of competent civil servants in remote areas of the country including Balochistan.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar was chairing a meeting held to review progress on filling of vacant seats reserved for marginalized areas in civil bureaucracy through special examinations as well as rotation policy.

PM Kakar directed to regularly hold the competitive examinations to fill the vacant seats in civil bureaucracy reserved for minorities and people from marginalized areas. He stressed persistent awareness campaigns to encourage minorities to participate in the competitive examination for government jobs. The prime minister said the country’s constitution provides equal rights and opportunities to minorities and people belonging to underprivileged areas.
He said the government was fully committed to ensuring equal opportunities for progress for every citizen. The meeting was briefed about the recently held special examination of the Central Superior Services (CSS).
The participants of the meeting were informed that 15,000 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 3,500 belonged to Balochistan. The examination has over 60 seats reserved in quota for Balochistan. The meeting was attended by Advisor to PM Ahad Khan Cheema, the Secretary to the PM, the Secretary Establishment, and the Secretary Federal Public Service Commission.
Meanwhile, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar condemned the terrorist attack in Dera Ismail Khan claiming six precious lives besides leaving more than 20 others injured was strongly condemnable.
The prime minister expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of innocent citizens in the blast, said a news release issued by PM Office.
Premier Anwaarul Haq Kakar prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace and courage for the bereaved families to bear this loss with fortitude.
He also instructed the authorities concerned to provide the best medical facilities to the injured persons.
The prime minister stated that the war against terrorists would continue until the eradication of the scourge of terrorism from the country.
“Thanks to the sacrifices of the law enforcement agencies, we have been thwarting the evil intentions of these terrorists,” he added.
