CAA returns Rs4 million items to woman traveller at Islamabad Airport

ISLAMABAD: A woman passenger’s items worth Rs4 million were returned by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) officials at Islamabad Airport on Saturday.

According to officials, the passenger had travelled to Islamabad from Karachi by flight ER-502 and lost her bag at the airport.

The passenger had left the bag in the baby changing room situated on level two.

Female sanitary attendant Ms Subia Asif handed over the bag to the Terminal Manager Arrival upon discovering it.

The Terminal Manager submitted the said bag to the CAA’s Lost and Found Section Office.

During checking about 110 British pounds, Pakistani Rs22,830, 10 tolas of gold, two mobile phones and a lady Swiss watch were found inside the bag.

The next day, after contacting the Islamabad Airport, the bag was handed over to the passenger.
