PTI’s Sanam Javed’s judicial remand extended till Nov 20

LAHORE: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Lahore on Tuesday extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed till November 20 in a case pertaining to the burning of the office of Muslim League (N).

Judge Abhar Gul heard the petition filed by the police against Sanam Javed, who was produced in court after the completion of her judicial remand.

During the hearing, the investigating officer requested the court to extend Javed’s remand as the challan (chargesheet) had been prepared.

The court, after hearing the arguments, accepted the police’s plea and extended Javed’s judicial remand till November 20.

A case was registered against Javed at Model Town Police Station for her alleged involvement in the burning of the PML-N office.
