Getting rid masses of inflation, other crises PML-N’s top priority: Shehbaz Sharif

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former prime minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that helping the masses to get rid of the inflation was top priority of his party.

He stated this while talking to former Senator Waqar Ahmed and President of PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Engr Amir Muqam who called on him in Lahore on Wednesday and congratulated Shehbaz for his acquittal in the Ashiana Iqbal reference.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif thanked former Senator Waqar Ahmed and Engr Amir Muqam and discussed with them the overall situation of the country and preparations for general elections.

The PML-N President said that under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, his party has always lived up to the trust and expectations of the nation. He said that political stability and collective efforts were needed for economic self-reliance and saving the people from confronting challenges was top priority of his party.

He further stated that saving Pakistan and its people from the economic crisis was a national agenda, Pakistan’s economic interests require political stability to counter these crises.

Former Senator Waqar Ahmed also appreciated Shahbaz Sharif’s efforts to save Pakistan from default during his 16 months as Prime Minister.
