Youth delegation from Balochistan explores OGDCL’s dynamic operations

ISLAMABAD: A delegation from Balochistan, comprising 50 accomplished youth representatives from diverse fields, including education, social sector, sports, art and culture, and entrepreneurship, on Thursday visited the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) Head Office in Islamabad. The visit, organized under the leadership of Senator Prince Ahmed Umer Ahmedzai, Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Communications, aimed to facilitate a constructive dialogue and foster connections between the youth of Balochistan and OGDCL.

Senator Prince Ahmed Umer Ahmedzai expressed his admiration for the outstanding work and contributions of OGDCL, stating, “We are impressed by the remarkable work and contributions of OGDCL. The purpose of this visit was to provide the youth delegation from Balochistan with an opportunity to learn more about the energy sector, share ideas, and foster meaningful connections.”

Chairman of OGDCL Zafar Masud was also present on the occasion. Ahmed Hayat Lak, Managing Director/ CEO of OGDCL, hosted a dinner for the delegation, providing an informal setting for engaging discussions and networking opportunities. The delegation gained insights into OGDCL’s operations, learned about the energy sector, and shared their ideas and aspirations.

OGDCL, as a leading entity in the energy sector, welcomed the opportunity to engage with the youth representatives, recognizing the importance of nurturing future leaders and fostering a deeper understanding of the industry.
