MoU between Punjab Police, Jiangsu to promote LEAs cooperation: Baligh

LAHORE: Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman has said that Pakistan and China are bound in a relationship of mutual trust, love and unparalleled friendship.

He was talking to a Chinese Jiangsu Police delegation led by Deputy Director General of Police Security Tan Yongsheng which called on him in Lahore on Thursday.

Speaking on this occasion, Baligh-ur-Rehman said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project was related to development of not only Pakistan and China but also the entire region.

The Governor Punjab said that signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Punjab Police and Jiangsu Province will promote bilateral cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the two countries.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Director General of Police Security Tan Yongsheng said apart from cooperation in the field of policing between Pakistan and China, people-to-people contacts and economic cooperation will also be promoted.
