Closure of educational institutions tomorrow announced

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi while taking important decisions about smog has ordered an effective crackdown against smoke-emitting vehicles and to continue cleaning the roads and sprinkling water.

The Punjab Chief Minister chaired a meeting of the cabinet’s anti-smog committee on Friday, directing to close down all educational institutions in the province. “Educational institutions will remain closed tomorrow,” he added.

The Punjab Chief Minister said markets, bazaars, restaurants and other businesses will remain open on Saturday and Sunday as usual.
