Pak Army promotes education in remote areas of K-P

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army and the Frontier Corps North are active in promoting education in remote areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

As per the instructions of senior officials of the army and Frontier Corps North, efforts are underway to promote education in Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Swat, Dir, Buner and Chitral under important initiatives like “Education for All”.

In this regard, awareness is also being provided to the residents of remote areas of these districts that they should educate their boys and girls.

Not only are the dilapidated buildings of the already established schools in these districts being renovated, but all the necessary facilities are also being provided for the regular conduct of classes in these schools.

Along with this, school uniforms, books, copies, and stationery are also being provided to needy students in various schools.

After a fire in the building of Government Model College in Swat, the Pakistan Army started holding classes in temporary tents.

Various schools in Bajaur, Khyber, Dir and Buner have been refurbished and made fully operational.

The people of these districts are expressing happiness at these significant steps for the promotion of education and also thanking the senior officials of Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North.
