Temporary relief

Democracy is a good, effective system, but the Pakistani version of it has its limitations. For the last 15 years, Dadu has been neglected, with the budget meant for water supply, roads, education and municipal services getting regularly misappropriated by the very people who are supposed to deliver. Dadu seems to have been hit by some calamity owing to exploitation of the local ‘electables’ who are equal partners in the crime.
