Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s daughter writes to ECP on his arrest

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman, Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s daughter Mehr Bano Qureshi moved the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against the ‘illegal arrest’ of her father.

As per details, the application filed in the ECP stated that former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was detained illegally and the way he was treated could affect the transparency of the general elections 2024.

Mehr Bano Qureshi urged the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja to take action on this matter as Shah Mehmood had been the foreign minister of Pakistan and always respected everyone.
