Four little siblings burnt alive as their house caught fire in Lahore

LAHORE: Four young siblings were burnt alive when their house caught fire in Ichhra, Lahore on Friday.

A fire broke out on the fifth floor of a residential building near Chowk Baba Azam burning to death four minor brothers and a sister aged between 2 and 12.

The deceased kids included Aman (12), Noor (8), Ibrahim (5) and Ismail (2).

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the death of four children in the fire incident.

He expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family in their hour of sorrow saying that he equally shares the grief of the bereaved family.

The chief minister also sought a report from the police and ordered them to investigate the incident

3 hurt in gas cylinder blast

In a separate incident, three people got hurt when their house caught fire following an explosion of a gas cylinder in the Green Town area of Lahore.

The rescue teams reached the spot and carried out rescue activities.
