PESHAWAR: An official of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) was martyred while three people were injured in a firing incident within the premises of Peshawar’s judicial complex on Monday. Police arrested the suspect.
According to details, the suspect wearing black robe and white shirt, with a black tie like lawyers visited session court and opened fire at CTD personnel.
As a result of firing, a CTD official was martyred while three others including a cop sustained bullet wounds.
Police arrested the suspect from crime scene along with weapons and shifted to police station for further investigations.
The body and injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar.
Police said that the incident seems to be outcome of personal enmity and further investigations were underway.
