Female teacher burned in acid attack, one accused held

LAHORE: A female teacher was burned in acid attack by two people in Shahdara area of Lahore. Police arrested one suspect during attempt to flee abroad.

According to details, two suspects riding a motorcycle threw acid on female teacher identified as Ayesha and fled the scene. As result of acid attack, the face of lady was burnt.

The scorched lady was shifted to hospital for treatment.

Police arrested one accused identified as Umer from Sialkot Airport while he was attempting to flee abroad.

The detainee was in love with Ayesha and wanted to tie a knot with her but over rejecting wedding proposal threw acid on her.
