ECP approves printing of 250 million ballot papers in watermarks

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Monday approved the printing of ballot papers for the general elections slated to be held on February 8.

According to sources, the printing of ballot papers for the general elections has been approved in a meeting of the Election Commission.

The Election Commission has decided to print about 250 million ballot papers for the general elections. The ECP will print watermarked ballot papers.

Sources have further informed that the ballot papers will be printed from three printing machines for the general elections and the security of the printing corporations will be kept tight during the printing of the ballot papers.
