GUJRANWALA: The anti-human trafficking circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested six human traffickers as crackdowns against elements involved in human smuggling continue.
According to details, during operations of FIA six human traffickers including an offender were arrested.
The detainees included Muhammad Ilyas, Bashir Ahmed, Abdul Rauf, Zubair Ahmed, Mehboob Khan and Shamas ur Rehman.
Officials said that four human traffickers were arrested from Daska district Sialkot, Mehboob Khan was detained from Mandi Bahauddin while Shamas ur Rehman was held from Chak Jugna Gujranwala.
The nabbed human traffickers were wanted by FIA for last many years.
They had received millions of rupees from citizens in the name of sending them to Europe and other foreign countries and arranging handsome employment opportunities for them there.
Illegal documents and passports were recovered from possession of the detainees who were being investigated.
