RAWALPINDI: Seven terrorists were killed in intelligence-based operation (IBO) of security forces in Sambaza Sector area of district Zhob near Pak-Afghan border on Monday, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to military’s media wing, the Pakistan Army troops effectively surrounded and engaged the terrorists involved in hostile activities against the armed forces and innocent civilians.
An exchange of fire took place during the IBO in which seven terrorists were killed.
The killed terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as the killing of innocent civilians. Arms, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from their possession.
The ISPR said that sanitization operation was being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area and security forces of Pakistan were determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
