Stunning details of terrorists killed in Pakistani strikes on BLF bases in Iran

ISLAMABAD: Stunning details of the terrorists killed in the Pakistani strike on Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) bases in Iran have come to the fore.

These terrorists played a prominent role in the long-standing terrorism being perpetrated in Balochistan, as they became tools in the hands of anti-Pakistan forces for personal financial gains.

The Pakistani armed forces conducted successful airstrikes against hideouts of the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) in neighboring Iran, eliminating several key figures responsible for a string of violent attacks in the Balochistan province.

The targeted operation resulted in the deaths of Dosta alias Chairman, Sahil alias Shafaq, Muhammad Wazir alias Wazo, Sarwar, and Bajar alias Soghat, all identified as prominent members of the BLF known for their involvement in terrorist activities across Balochistan.

Dosta alias Chairman was a resident of Panjgur district who joined the Baloch Liberation Front in 2013 and was a member of BLF commander Fazal Sher alias Tahir group.

He has been involved in drug peddling, looting and several attacks against law enforcement agencies in Paroom sector.

Dosta has been responsible for multiple attacks on security forces, including the September 20, 2019 Paroom school and FC post attacks; the May 23, 2020 Paroom area FC post attack; the landmine explosion at Yousuf checkpost on September 4, 2022; and the targeting of an FC convoy on April 12, 2023.

He was also involved in the kidnapping and subsequent murder of Akhlaq alias Shaukat on March 3, 2023 in Balgatar area.

Sarwar: A resident of Panjgur district, he was the son of terrorist Asghar alias Bisham, who himself had a history of targeting security forces and civilians. Sarwar was involved in a firing incident on a Frontier Corps (FC) patrolling party on June 8, 2021 in Gawash Chakar Bazar, while another FC patrolling party was attacked in Panjgur district on July 20, 2021.

Sarwar was also involved in the fatal shooting of Muhammad Ansar in February 2023 at a bus stand in Panjgur.

Meanwhile, on November 21, 2023, a soldier was martyred as a result of firing by Asghar.

Muhammad Wazir alias Wazo: Initially joined the Baloch Republican Army in 2013/14 and the BLF in 2019. He was known for his involvement in numerous terrorist activities alongside his brother, Abid alias Chakar in Paroom and Gwargo areas of Panjgur districts. He was responsible for targeted killings, grenade attacks, and mine explosions targeting security forces and civilians.

He had killed Ahmadullah and Amir of Panjgur district in a targeted attack on September 14, 2020. On March 4, 2023, he is said to have carried out a grenade attack on the bridge checkpost, while on May 1, 2023, he targeted an FC convoy near Customs Office Area with a landmine.

Bajar alias Soghat: A BLF member since 2016, Soghat was implicated in kidnappings, murders, and attacks on security forces in the Paroom sector. He was involved in the abduction from his residence and killing of Nazir on April 8, 2023.

He was also involved in a grenade attack on an FC convoy on the bridge checkpost on March 4, 2023, as well as the targeting of another FC convoy near Customs Office area through a landmine.

Sahil Ling alias Shafaq: Brother of terrorist Bulbul, Sahil was active in extortion and terrorist activities in the Margat and Harnai areas. He was involved in several terrorist attacks against innocent Pakistanis and security forces.

The elimination of these notorious figures represents a significant blow to the BLF’s operations in Balochistan. Their violent acts have claimed the lives of countless innocent civilians and security personnel, leaving communities devastated and seeking justice.
