The government has called off the recruitment process for teaching posts in the education department. This has been done as part of efforts to control prevalent corruption in government departments. What about the candidates whose time and money now stand wasted? The test was conducted by the Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University, which charged Rs1,000 per post. The aspirants had come from different parts of the country to take the test. They invested their time and money in the process. Can they be compensated? If teaching posts are announced again, the test fee should be exempted for the candidates who fell victim to negligence.
