For a change

Being an educationist, I believe we lack moral education, especially at the primary level, which is the foundational stage. The example of Japan, an enlightened and prosperous country, is in front of us. The curriculum at the primary level there focusses on moral education and social ethics, and how to put them into practice in everyday life. Our academic institutions should also emphasise such aspects so that the students, when they grow up, are able to bring a social change. All the stakeholders should contribute to make it possible.
