With elections in the air, politicians of all shades and hues are approaching people, asking for their vote. This is the time when they go above and beyond to make people believe that they will provide them a better future in terms of jobs, education and health. As puppets, we, the people, fall for their fake promises. When these politicians come to ask for vote this time around, we need to ask them important questions, such as what is their understanding of Pakistan’s debt issue, and what do they have in mind with respect to policies and steps to address such challenges.
