PML-N to launch Islamabad-Murree train service after coming into power: Nawaz Sharif

MURREE: Supreme leader of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif has pledged that his party after coming into power will start a train service from Islamabad to Murree and Muzaffarabad.

While addressing a public gathering in Murree on Monday, the former prime minister claimed that PML-N enjoys complete support of youth of the country.

Regarding Kashmir Solidarity Day, he said Pakistan has always stood by the people of Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Nawaz Sharif taking jibe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that it neither fulfilled its promise nor did anything for Pakistan but PML-N will rebuild Pakistan again.

Earlier in his Gujranwala Public gathering, the PML-N supremo pledged to eliminate poverty and unemployment in the country if he secures victory in the upcoming Feb 8 general elections.

If PML-N government had not been ousted, not a single person here would have been unemployed, he claimed.

Nawaz Sharif while citing Transparency International’s report said Pakistan’s ranking on graft index improved under Nawaz Sharif-led government. “Not only corruption, the price of bread, flour and sugar were also at the lowest”, he reiterated.

He further said that the judge, who was in line to become new Chief Justice and awarded him sentence, resigned and went home. “That judge was involved in my ouster,” he added.

“Had my government remained, people would have been satisfied; they would have been able to make ends meet, unlike today,” the PML-N supremo maintained.
