Black magic

My family recently experienced a troubling incident at the hands of practitioners of black magic. This made me realise the absence of any legal framework in the country to penalise such practices. Nearly four years ago, a legislator had introduced a bill in the assembly to amend both the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) with the aim of penalising such practices. The bill was referred to the relevant committee on Feb 6, 2020, but it was rejected after a couple of sittings. I hope the new parliament would enact due legislation in this regard.
