As a concerned and law-abiding citizen, I am pained by the recent happenings in the country. Watching media coverage of the general elections and the frenzy on the social media is not an experience I will like to have again. As things stand, anti-Pakistan forces are always ready to start bashing once a loophole is made available, and, for some completely incomprehensible reasons, we, the people, and our leaders continue to provide such elements enough ground to carry on with their nefarious agendas. The situation demands from all concerned to realise their duty, and to avoid committing such mistakes again and again.
