Sources within the PTI indicate that the party’s founder has emphasized the importance of appointing a woman to this crucial post. leading to Soraya Bibi’s selection.
Soraya Bibi, who hails from 1 Chitral of BBP, secured a general seat in the assembly. Additionally, she serves as the Vice President of the Malakand Women Wing of Tehreek-e-Insaf and is known for her active involvement in social work. With a Master’s Degree in Sociology, Soraya Bibi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.
This decision follows the footsteps of Mehr Taj Roghani, who previously held the position of Deputy Speaker in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. By nominating Soraya Bibi, PTI continues its commitment to promoting gender diversity and inclusivity in political leadership roles.
