Pakistan Navy continues relief efforts in Gwadar’s rain hit areas

KARACHI: Pakistan Navy continues relief efforts in rain and flood hit areas of Gwadar to provide relief to the affectees.

According to details, Pakistan Navy troops in coordination with local administration w ere continuously engaged in de-flooding of homes and streets in different parts of the city while Pakistan Navy boats, divers and mobile medical teams were prepared to promptly respond to any emergency situation.

The Pakistan Navy troops along with civil administration through continued efforts were engaged for early restoration of road connectivities for onward smooth conduct of rescue activities.

Further, Pakistan Navy teams were providing cooked food, drinking water and ration bags to distressed people in various areas of Gwadar. Apart from ration distribution medical assistance was also being provided to the local affected community. In this regard, Pakistan Navy’s medical teams were providing free healthcare facilities to flood affectees at a medical camp established for local flood affected populace.

Pakistan Navy has always remained at the forefront in extending humanitarian assistance during natural calamities. Pakistan Navy was determined to continue the rescue and relief operation till the rehabilitation of all distressed people of Gwadar.
