Kashmiri youth wins big in Belgian boxing contest

BRUSSELS: Abdullah Ahmed, 16-year-old son of a well-known Kashmiri-origin figure Shabir Ahmed Jaral, won the matches of a Flemish province in the under-18 amateur category 54 kg in the annual Belgian boxing competition, he played in Brussel yesterday and defeated his French rival in the national champion competition.

He won the gold medal by defeating the champion of the province, Santino Leonard, in three rounds. When the five judges declared Abdullah Ahmed as the winner, Abdullah Ahmed prostrated himself in the boxing ring and gave his praise to Allah. Abdullah Ahmed’s success was resounded with applause.

The Kashmiri and Pakistani community felt so proud . At the age of 16, winning the title of Brussels Boxing Champion was no less than an honour. The members of the Belge community expressed their happiness & The people from Pakistan felt proud that a Belge who’s from a Pakistani Kashmiri origin came forward and became a success in boxing.

By winning, the sports will be promoted as well as the country . Muhammad Shabir Jaral, the father of the boxing champion, claimed that he felt very honoured and proud of his son. He praised god that both his sons have helped promote Belgium in the field of boxing & sports The flag of Kashmir and Pakistan is also hoisted, which gives peace and satisfaction to my heart.

The flag of Pakistan and Kashmir should always be represented with the utmost respect and dignity. It is also crucial to raise awareness of the issues that have been happening in Kashmir and to ensure that the voices of those affected are heard. It’s important to shed light on the situation and advocate for justice and human rights. Abdullah truly made both his countries feel proud in his success, other community members also congratulated Abdullah and took selfies.
