11 die in road accidents in Sindh, Punjab cities

KARACHI: As many as 11 people were killed while over a dozen were seriously injured in three accidents in Nawabshah, Larkana and Chakwal on Sunday.

Six die in pickup, truck collision in Nawabshah

Six persons were killed while 15 were seriously injured when a Datsun pickup, carrying a wedding guests, collided with a truck on the National Highway in tehsil Qazi Ahmad of Nawabshah.

The dead and the injured were shifted to tehsil headquarter hospital, Qazi Ahmad.

Police said that women and children were among the dead and the injured.

Three die in road accident near Mohenjo Daro

Three people, including two children, were killed when a tractor trolley crashed into their motorcycle near Mohenjo Daro in Larkana.

Those who died were identified as Ahmad Ali Khero, five-year-old Bismah, and four-year-old Sajan Ali.

Soon after learning about the incident, police reached the site of the accident.

Two die in road accident near Chakwal

Similarly, two persons lost their lives when a Mazda truck, heading from Rawalpindi to Lahore, slammed into a tractor trolley on the motorway at Kalar Kahar near Chakwal in Punjab.
