Cheap cars trap: Two youth kidnapped, Rs50m ransom demanded for release

LOWER DIR: Kidnappers abducted two youth under cheap cars trap and have demanded Rs50 million for their release.

According to details, Haji Hameed hailing from Lower Dir along with his friend belonging to Bajaur saw low cost cars on social media and contacted the dealers.

The culprits called them to Kachha area of Punjab by sharing location on social media and abducted them at gunpoint after they visited the location.

The kidnappers have demanded Rs50 million from heirs of the abducted youth for their release.

DPO Lower Dir Ziauddin Ahmed confirmed the abduction but said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police could not take action in the issue as the two youth as the area where the youth have abducted from the area which lies in jurisdiction of Punjab police.

Heirs of the abductees have demanded of the provincial government for measures for their recovery.
