Bilawal, Sindh CM, Faryal Talpur felicitate Hindu community on Holi Festival

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and PPP Central President of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Women’s Wing and MPA Faryal Talpur wished on Sunday all those celebrating the festival of Holi.

In a statement, the former foreign minister highlighted the importance of fostering inclusivity and respect for diverse cultural traditions within the nation. He said, “Holi serves as a reminder of the shared humanity that transcends religious or cultural differences.”
The former foreign minister stressed the imperative need for societal cohesion, advocating for mutual understanding and solidarity among Pakistan’s diverse populace.
He highlighted the inherent values of tolerance and acceptance encapsulated by Holi, asserting that such celebrations foster inclusivity within the nation.
Echoing the sentiments of the nation’s revered leaders, he stated, “We seek guidance from the thoughts of Quaid-e-Azam, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.”
On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah conveyed his warm greetings to the Hindu community on the auspicious occasion of the Holi festival.
In his message, the CM expressed his heartfelt wishes for the happiness and well-being of the Hindu community residing in the country, particularly in Sindh.
Holi is widely celebrated as the festival of colors, which signifies love and affection, and provides a wonderful opportunity to bring people together, he added. The CM Pakistan People’s Party always raise voice for protection of the rights of minorities. He said the non Muslims were enjoying complete freedom for observance of their religious rituals in Sindh and the country. Syed Murad Shah said Hindu community was performing it’s major role for the development and prosperity of the country.
Faryal wishes Happy Holi to Hindu community
Meanwhile, Central President of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Women’s Wing and MPA Faryal Talpur has extended Holi greetings to the Hindu community in Pakistan and all those celebrating this festival of colours, lights and the spring worldwide.
In a message on this occasion of the Holi, Faryal Talpur said that the message of Holi was love, brotherhood and peace.
She said that the services of Pakistan’s Hindus community to the country and nation are unforgettable and prayed that may this Holi bring peace and prosperity to our Hindu brothers and sisters, leading to the interfaith harmony in Pakistan.
