Sony has released a new trailer for Bad Boys 4, now titled Bad Boys 4: Ride or Die, bringing back Will Smith’s Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence’s Marcus Burnett. The film, directed by Bad Boys for Life filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, is set to hit theaters on June 7.
The trailer promises an action-packed experience as Lowrey and Burnett confront a quickie mart hold-up. The plot revolves around their boss Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano), who is wrongly implicated as a long-time drug smuggler.
Expect thrilling scenes with burning cars, intense highway chases, crashing helicopters, and vibrant strip clubs, indicating a promising run at the box office. Similar to recent successes like the Ghostbusters franchise, which crossed the $1 billion mark, Bad Boys 4 is poised for a strong performance, especially with its predecessors grossing $841 million globally.
The screenplay for the movie was written by Chris Bremner, with production handled by Smith, Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, and Doug Belgrad.
The star-studded cast includes Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nuñez, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Jacob Scipio, Melanie Liburd, Tasha Smith, Tiffany Haddish, and Joe Pantoliano, with executive producers Lawrence, Bremner, Barry Waldman, Mike Stenson, James Lassiter, and Jon Mone.
