PESHAWAR – After remaining underground for more than 10 months, senior PTI leader Hammad Azhar made a public appearance and spoke to media, at Peshawar High Court, to secure transit bail.
He criticised the process in which cases have been formed against him. “There are 91 cases against me at the moment. And I was not present at any one of the locations where and when they were registered”, he said while speaking to media.

He added that he would be holding a ‘press conference’ in the next 24 hours to speak in more detail about the state of the judicial system and the country.
Hammad Azhar is among the few PTI leaders who have managed to avoid arrest. But during these 10 months, there have been multiple raids on his residences and his family home.
A massive crackdown on the PTI began soon after the violence on May 9th, 2023 when various sensitive military installations were ransacked by PTI activists.
