Veteran actress Bushra Ansari has addressed rumors about her relationship with actor and director Iqbal Hussain by confirming their second marriage. Although they had previously tied the knot, they recently made their marital status public through a video.
In one of her YouTube vlogs, Bushra Ansari shared a clip where she and Iqbal Hussain discussed societal perceptions about marrying later in life.
Iqbal Hussain shared that their bond strengthened while working on a drama, leading him to propose to Bushra. However, she took her time before accepting the proposal, considering her long-standing marriage of thirty years and her independent life post-divorce.
“After being in a marriage for three decades, I had no plans for a second marriage. I was financially stable, my children were settled, and I was content,” remarked the esteemed actress.
She further revealed, “I didn’t even disclose my divorce for a while, so naturally, no one approached me for remarriage.”
The couple expressed gratitude to their close circle, including Asma Abbas and Bilal Abbas, Behroze Sabzwari, Badar Khalil, and Sultana Siddiqui, for their unwavering support as they embarked on this new journey together.
