Six terrorists killed in North Waziristan IBO: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Six terrorists were killed in intelligence based operation (IBO) of security forces in North Waziristan on Friday-Saturday night, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

According to military’s media wing, the security forces on report of presence of terrorists launched operation in North Waziristan.

An intense exchange of fire took place between the troops and the terrorists during which six terrorists were killed. Hideout of the terrorists was also busted in the operation.

The killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as target killings of innocent civilians in the area.

Sanitization operation was being conducted in the area by the security forces, who remain determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
