Renowned figure of the Pakistani drama industry, Shagufta Ejaz, recently opened up about her second marriage to Yahya Siddiqui after being a single parent to her two daughters.
Appearing on a comedy show aired by a private news channel, the seasoned TV actor shared that Yahya Siddiqui proposed to her, but she took two years to accept. She revealed her initial hesitations, stemming from concerns about whether Siddiqui would be as loving to her daughters from her previous marriage as a biological father would be.
Ejaz emphasized that her only demand from Siddiqui was to fulfill the role of a real father to her daughters.
“But after witnessing whatever brief interactions he had with my children during that time, I felt like they would be safe with him. And my observation was proved absolutely right,” she added.
It’s worth noting that Shagufta Ejaz has two elder daughters, Anya and Haya, from her first marriage, both of whom are now married.
With her second husband Yahya Siddiqui, the veteran actress shares two more daughters, Nabiha and Emaan. Additionally, Siddiqui has two sons from his previous marriage.
