KP initiates process to finalize annual development program for FY 2024-25

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has initiated the process for finalising the Annual Development Program (ADP) for the fiscal year 2024-25.

The provincial government has directed all administrative departments to submit their proposed development programs (ADPs), which will be discussed and finalised by the end of the current week.

In a meeting with the KP Chief Economist, all administrative departments have been directed to present their proposed development programs for the fiscal year 2024-25. Each department will present its ADP, which will be discussed and debated, and the development program will be prepared accordingly.

The provincial government has also issued guidelines for the preparation of the ADP, which will focus on ongoing projects and encourage collaboration with international aid agencies and the private sector. The government has directed the departments to prioritize projects that are likely to have a significant impact on the province’s development.

The consultation process, which began last week, will continue until Friday, during which 33 administrative departments will present their proposed development programs. The finalized development program will be announced soon, outlining the government’s priorities and strategies for the fiscal year 2024-25.
