Facing economic meltdown, Pakistan needs to focus solely on agriculture and ranching. Doing this will provide employment to the people in their hometowns, and will help raise our foreign exchange profile. After all, most G20 countries, such as Russia, Canada, Turkiye, Argentina, South Africa, Brazil and Mexico, have their main sources of revenue as well as foreign exchange based on agriculture. Simultaneously, growth in other fields will naturally take place as an offshoot of the revenue earned through agriculture and ranching. We should mainly strive for growth in areas in which we are naturally gifted. Entering directly into state-of-the-art industries using robotic technologies, mind you, will only drain the country’s hard-earned foreign exchange back to the foreign countries.
