Revealed: Monthly salaries of Pakistan cricket team players

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has disclosed the monthly salaries of the national cricket team players.

According to reports, category A players earn Rs4.5 million monthly, while category B players receive Rs3 million. Recent contracts from PCB significantly increased salaries across all categories.

Category A saw a 202% hike, category B experienced a 144% rise, and categories C and D saw increases of 135% and 127%, respectively.

Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Muhammad Rizwan are in category A, receiving Rs4.5 million each. Category B includes Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah, earning up to Rs3 million.

Players in categories C and D receive between Rs750,000 and Rs1.5 million monthly. Imad Wasim is in category C, while Iftikhar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and Saim Ayub are in category D.

Additionally, players receive fixed match fees and match awards across all formats, contributing to their overall earnings.
