The cap that Wahab wore is not the official Pakistan team cap for the T20 world cup.
His appearance in the huddle raised questions, especially when he wore a cap different from the official team hat. Pakistan’s T20 World Cup journey faced a setback after a surprising defeat to the USA in their opening match, making every subsequent game crucial.
Wahab was part of the panel which selected Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad, and is serving as the senior team manager for the tour.
Mansoor Rana is listed as team manager, and it is not clear what the distinction is between the two roles. Gary Kirsten was appointed as head coach shortly before the tournament took place.
