Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not invited to Royal event amid escalating tensions

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were absent from King Charles’ Trooping the Colour for the second consecutive year, having not been invited. This event marked King Charles’ second official birthday parade as monarch on June 15.

The couple, who stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and now reside in California with their children, previously attended the event three times during Queen Elizabeth’s reign.

In 2022, they returned to the UK for the Platinum Jubilee but did not participate in the main festivities, as balcony appearances were limited to working royals.

Harry recently visited the UK for the Invictus Games’ 10th anniversary but did not meet with King Charles due to the monarch’s full schedule. Their absence this year further        highlights their changed relationship with the royal family.
