LAHORE: Singer Muhammad Ashraf, widely known as Malku, has filed a legal challenge in the Lahore High Court (LHC) against his inclusion in the Professional National Identification List (PNIL).
Represented by Azhar Siddique Advocate, the petition names the federal government among other respondents.
In his petition, Malku asserts that his name was wrongfully added to the PNIL in March 2024.
He highlights his absence from the country during this period, noting he was in the UK for a music concert from June 19 to July, and states there are no legal cases against him that would warrant such inclusion.
Malku is seeking a court order for the removal of his name from the PNIL, claiming that his inclusion was illegal.
