Punjab Assembly backs operation Azm-e-Istehkam to combat terrorism

LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly on Monday received a resolution endorsing Operation Azm-e-Istehkam, an initiative recently approved by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Introduced by PML-N legislator Hina Pervaiz Butt, the resolution expresses the assembly’s full support for this national security measure.

The document reaffirms the assembly’s commitment to collaborate extensively with the Pakistan military, police, and other security agencies, highlighting the importance of federal and provincial unity in this endeavor.

The resolution underscores the collective stand of the nation alongside its security forces in the fight against terrorism.
