PIA slashes Umrah fares for pilgrims

LAHORE: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a significant fare reduction for individuals planning to perform Umrah.

According to the airline’s spokesperson, the reduced rates will make it more affordable for Umrah pilgrims traveling from Pakistan to Madinah.

Effective immediately, the discounted two-way fare from Lahore and Islamabad to Madinah has been set at Rs86,000 (plus tax).

For those departing from Karachi, the fare to Madinah is now Rs76,000 plus tax. Previously, the Umrah ticket cost Rs120,000.

This promotional fare is available until July 15, as part of PIA’s efforts to facilitate pilgrims during the Umrah season.
