WATCH: Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar lashes out at audience during show

Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar is an ace Pakistani drama and film writer, poet and producer. He’s recently garnering praise for his drama serial Gentleman. The senior writer is a great motivational and public speaker as well. He often appears in various discussion shows and interviews.

Recently, he appeared appeared in a TV show, hosted by Ayesha Jahanzeb where Sahil Adeem was also a speaker and the host conducted a discussion session with the speakers and audiences. In the discussion session, a girl from the audiences called out Sahil Adeem who used rude words for women.

The girl said, “if you have uttered a word Jahil for girls, you should apologize or give me the proof where the Quran says to use the word Jahil for those who don’t have knowledge of certain things”. In the reply, Sahil Adeem shared Arabic verses to which the girl in the audience got angry and her reply regarding speaking Arabic language angered Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar who indulged in a heated argument with girl. However, the host calmed the situation and went towards the other member.

Social media users are coming up with mixed replies. Many are saying that almost all the participants in the discussion session are somehow showing intolerance towards each other and thinking superior of themselves which is the biggest drawback of this specific discussion show. Fans are of the view that all the participants should be well prepared for the discussion and choose their words wisely with calm. A few agreed to the girl but many said that the way she’s doing debate is proving that she’s the one ignorant. Fans also said that motivational speakers should use words consciously.
