Princess Kate’s major Wimbledon rule break that she could repeat today

It has been confirmed that Princess Kate will attend her beloved Wimbledon on Sunday, ending weeks of speculation.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that Princess Kate will be making her anticipated return to Wimbledon for the Men’s Singles Final on Sunday.

As the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Kate has been presenting the winners’ trophies since 2016, and she has also been there to console the losers.

In 2019, the Princess of Wales offered words of comfort to her good friend Roger Federer after he lost to Novak Djokovic, even appearing to break royal protocol by putting her arm around him.

Generally, members of the Royal Family are expected to remain reserved in public, with older generations typically refraining from physical contact.

However, Kate has always openly expressed her feelings at the tennis. She was heard telling the former Wimbledon champion that he was “incredible,” and with her return to the tournament tomorrow, we may see her show her emotions yet again as she watches Novak Djokovic play Carlos Alcaraz.
