No power for the poor or middle class

The recent electricity unit price hike is a severe blow to the consumers most of whom are already grappling with severe economic hardship. The increase has resulted in a significant surge in monthly expenses, forcing many families to make difficult choices between paying their electricity bills and meeting other essential expenditure. The impact is particularly devastating for low- and middle-income families. Considering the immense burden on these consumers, the federal government should step forward and provide some relief.
