Prince William issued a supportive statement for Team England after their significant loss at the European Football Championships, Euro 2024.
The Prince of Wales wrote on the Wales family’s official Instagram account, “This time it just was not meant to be. We are still so proud of you. Onwards @england. W.”
For those unaware, Spain defeated England 2-1 in the final of Euro Cup 2024, leaving the royal family disappointed.
Notably, William and Prince George attended the Euro 2024 nail-biting final in Berlin on Sunday evening. However, the father-son duo appeared disheartened by the outcome at the end of the historic game.
It is pertinent to mention that William’s message came after Kate Middleton’s headline-making appearance at the 2024 Wimbledon men’s singles final.
