Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 15% discount on tickets for those travelling from Toronto to Saudi Arabia via Lahore.
This discount aims to facilitate the pilgrimage journey for many travellers.
The discount applies to ticket holders from July and will be valid for travel between August and November 15, 2024. This initiative is expected to make the journey more affordable for pilgrims, encouraging more people to undertake this significant religious trip.
PIA has already begun the process of selling these discounted tickets. This offer is a part of the airline’s efforts to provide cost-effective and convenient travel options for Umrah pilgrims.
Earlier, in a major development for the residents of Faisalabad and Quetta, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the commencement of direct flights from the two cities to Saudi Arabia.
Starting August 6, this new service aims to facilitate travel for Umrah pilgrimage and other travel needs for citizens.
PIA officials confirmed that two flights per week will operate between Faisalabad and Quetta each, and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, making the journey more convenient for travellers. Previously, residents of Quetta and Faisalabad had to travel via connecting flights through Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad, which posed several challenges and inconveniences, they said.
