PIO Mubasher Hassan’s father passes away, laid to rest in Peshawar

ISLAMABAD: The father of Principal Information Officer (PIO) Mubasher Hassan, a senior officer of the Ministry of Information, has passed away.

His funeral prayers were offered on Saturday at Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Colony located on Jamrud Road in Peshawar.

Besides others, the funeral prayer of the deceased was attended by Khyber Pakthunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, officers of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, media persons, civil officers, journalists and elites of the city in large number.
Later, the deceased was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard. The Qul of the deceased would be offered on Monday at Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Peshawar’s colony at Jamrud Road Peshawar.
Late Ghulam Sabir was also the father of retired senior bureaucrat Ahmad Hassan and senior officer of BISE Peshawar Aftab Hassan.
The people and well wishers have been visiting the residence of PIO Mubashir Hassan and offering fateha for eternal peace of his father who passed away due to protracted illness.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture Ataullah Tarar has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of the father of Principal Information Officer (PIO) Mubasher Hassan.
In a condolence message, the minister expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Mubashir Hassan and his family. He said he was deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of PIO Mubashir Hassan’s father.
Terming the death of a father a great tragedy for the children, he said the “vacuum created by the death of the father will never be filled”.
The minister said at this hour of sorrow, he shared the grief of the bereaved family. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
