Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has prepared a list to finalize the names for 14 reserved seats for women from Punjab.
Names under consideration for the reserved seats include Kanwal Shauzab, President of PTI Women’s Wing, former National Assembly member Alia Hamza, and General Secretary of Women’s Wing Rubina Shaheen.
The list also includes former President of Northern Punjab, Seemabia Tahir, Farukhanda Kokab, and President of Women’s Wing Central Punjab, Shahnaz Tariq.
Similarly, General Secretary of Punjab, Dr. Misbah Zafar, former National Assembly member Rubiya Jamil, and candidate from Sialkot in the general elections of February 2024, Rehana Dar, are also on the list. Additionally, the names of Khadija Shah, former President of Women’s Wing Rawalpindi, Farah Agha, and former President of Women’s Wing Central Punjab, Dr. Nausheen Hamid, are included for the reserved seats in the National Assembly from Punjab.
Rabia Cheema, wife of former Governor Punjab Umar Cheema, and Firdous Rehana are also included in the list for reserved seats in the National Assembly, which will be given final approval by the PTI founder.
