In their messages on International Youth Day, they highlighted that the youth of Pakistan are the most valuable asset as they are the dreamers and leaders of tomorrow.

President Zardari emphasized the government’s duty to provide opportunities and resources necessary for the youth to fulfill their potential and contribute to a prosperous and progressive Pakistan.

He noted that the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme is a testament to the government’s commitment to empowering the youth. “As President, I am proud of the accomplishments of our young people,” he said, encouraging every young Pakistani to seize available opportunities, dream big, and work tirelessly for the betterment of the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif pointed out that over sixty percent of Pakistan’s population is under the age of thirty, describing young people as agents for positive change through education, entrepreneurship, and social activism.

He reported that the Youth Loan and Agricultural Scheme, introduced in 2013, has distributed approximately one hundred eighty-six billion rupees to over two hundred and eighty thousand young entrepreneurs, yielding significant results.

Further, PM Shehbaz Sharif announced plans to broaden the scope of this initiative, aiming to allocate an additional one hundred billion rupees during the current financial year to empower around three hundred thousand young entrepreneurs across the country.
